  • Listing content: photos, titles, descriptions, prices, and location you provide when selling.
  • Messages and offers exchanged with other users through LookBuyValue.
  • Photos you upload for AI item identification and pricing.
  • Basic usage data, like page views on your listings.

2. How we use it

We use your data to run the marketplace: showing your listings to buyers, delivering messages, powering LookBuyValue AI's item identification, pricing and negotiation help, processing any AI or Pro Max fees, and keeping your account secure.

3. AI processing

When you use LookBuyValue AI, photos and item details you provide are sent to our AI providers (OpenAI for photo identification, and our text-generation provider for pricing and negotiation help) solely to generate your listing and buyer responses. We don't use your data to train third-party models.

4. What we share

Your listing content (photos, title, description, price, general location) is public — that's how buyers find it. Your name and profile are visible to people you message or exchange offers with. We don't sell your personal data. We share data with service providers (hosting, database, AI, email, payments) only as needed to operate LookBuyValue.

5. Your choices

You can edit or delete your listings at any time. You can request that we delete your account and associated personal data by contacting us through the app or the email address on your account — we'll remove what we can, aside from records we're required to keep (e.g. for fraud prevention or legal compliance).

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access-controlled databases. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as LookBuyValue evolves. We'll post the new version here with an updated date.
